Why we exist

Most "tipster" platforms hide their results — they show you yesterday's winners and quietly drop the losers from the slate. BetsPlug is built the other way around. Every prediction the engine makes is timestamped before kickoff, stored in a public database, and graded once the match ends. The number you see on our pricing page is the number our own server saw.

How it works

Our v8.1 engine combines XGBoost with a calibrated logistic model across 30+ football competitions worldwide. It ingests Elo ratings, recent form, head-to-head history, league standings, and betting-market odds. For every fixture it outputs a win/draw/loss probability and a single confidence score.

Picks are then bucketed into four tiers (Free, Silver, Gold, Platinum) based on the league quality and how confident the engine is. Higher tier = stricter filter = fewer picks per day, but a higher historical hit rate.

What we don't do

• We don't take bets, hold deposits, or process wagers. We are not a bookmaker.
• We don't give financial or betting advice. Our forecasts are probabilistic estimates published for educational and research purposes only.
• We don't promise that you'll make money. Past model performance is not indicative of future results.
• We don't hide the misses. Every graded prediction lives on the public track record, including the ones the engine got wrong.

Who runs this

BetsPlug is built and operated by a small Dutch team that ships every week. We're independently funded — no investor pressure to chase a tipster narrative. Every commit is on GitHub; our model artefacts live in the same repo as our pricing page.
